Vitamin D deficiency – a mass phenomenon

Research

Vitamin D deficiency is common today and is a major cause of illness in many people. The scientist William B Grant, PhD, author of many scientific articles on Vitamin D and founder of the Sunlight, Nutrition and Health Research Center, has shown that the optimal vitamin D level in is above 40ng/dl.

This is also the area where the risk of infections, heart disease and cancer is significantly reduced. Life expectancy also increases as a result. The sun hormone not only protects against osteoporosis, but is one of the most effective anti-aging agents ever.

Hardly a day passes in my practice when I do not discover patients with a strong deficit. Vitamin D deficiency seems to be a mass phenomenon. It is the most common pathological laboratory value in Germany and Switzerland, as well as in other industrialized countries. It is shocking that this fact has so far been disregarded in practical medicine, although the scientific evidence is clear and unambiguous.

With over-the-counter vitamin D or multivitamin preparations, no optimal vitamin D level can be achieved. The required dose is far too low. With the usual dose recommendations, the deficiency persists, not even a good vitamin D level can be sustained.

That’s why I work with high dosage according to Dr. med. Raimund von Helden, until an optimal level is achieved, as is common among primitive peoples in the sunny countries.

Healing

Achieving an optimal vitamin D level can bring incredible healing benefits:

Vitamin D protects against:

  • muscle and bone loss
  • multiple sclerosis
  • Type 1 diabetes
  • arthrosis
  • coloncancer
  • depression
  • decline in physical and mental performance

Anti-Aging

This “hormone-like” vitamin makes each of your cells younger, that can be measured on the telomeres. These are the protective caps of your chromosomes, which shorten over the years. Vitamin D stops shortening, so it stops aging. This was shown in a study at the University of London with 2160 twins. The group with the higer Vitamn D level had telomeres “five-years longer” than the group with the lowest Vitamin D Level.

Viamin D therapy is inexpensive, easy and risk free. A deficiency of Vitamin D can be accuretely determind and quickly corrected with a natural supplement. Everybody should have their vitamin D levels tested regularly, because most suffer from s severe deficiency.
